Florin Scripcă known as Chef Foa began his journey at the tender age of 18, when he stepped in a
professional kitchen for the very first time, and since then, history has been written. From the beginnings, Chef Foa teamed up with Flavours and together built a culinary food empire, taking now care of multiple brands – Flavours (a catering and tailor made event division), Stradale (a chain of almost 30 restaurants), Mitzu (a chain of almost 30 coffee shops) & Bruto (an a la carte restaurant). Ever since discovering his passion for cooking, Chef Foa has honed his culinary skills continuously in famous establishments such as: Blistering Barbecue, Rhubarb Catering, Jamie Oliver`s Fabulous Feasts, and the Nut Tree Inn. This has allowed him to always stay ahead of the curve in Romania and be a true national Trend Setter. Children`s food education regarding nutrition is one of Chef Foa’s focuses. This is underlined through his presence in 3 private schools: American International School of Bucharest, International British School of Bucharest; Lycée Français Anna de Noailles. Educating through cooking shows organized with the little one, as well as coaching sessions and on hands experience during lunch, Chef Foa aims to help children make well informed decisions regarding food. He took part of numerous TV shows such as: Flavours 3 Bucătari (2005-2009), Prima TV, Cine-i Chefu (2018), Kanal D, MasterChef Romania (2014, 2015, 2022) PRO TV. 4 years of activity, 13 cities, and over 3 million visitors, Chef Foa has been the Street Food Festival Ambassador since the very first edition. Bringing foodies on the streets, Chef Foa gave birth to a real street food market in every city he visited. Chef Foa`s own book Street Food: Asia – Justice to ingredients! Which is a motto he lives by in all he does.
