Sergiu Smerea is a 26-year-old professional actor from Roman, Moldova. He studied in Cluj and currently works in Bucharest. After graduating, he secured his first casting for a feature film, landing a leading role that earned him his first TIFF award and a nomination for “Best Actor” at the Gopo Awards.

By the age of 26, Sergiu has worked on over six film productions and many advertising spots. He is also active in theater, where he has a concert show in which he performs an entire novel in rap.
